  • Educate students at an earlier age (3rd through 5th grades) about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
  • Advocate for peer support opportunities for middle school students to support healthy and drug-free behaviors.
  • Educate parents about local issues and resources, and support growing needs and concerns through Parenting With Purpose, an educational initiative.
  • Collaborate with local resources (St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Saline Police, Washtenaw Judicial, mental health care providers, parent connections) to provide quicker local responses to urgent needs.

WHAT WE NEED:

  • Participation from professionals and volunteers with collaborative efforts to define and identify necessary local resources.
  • Community participation at monthly meetings.  There are no requirements for attendance at meetings.  Come when you can, give input and feedback to the group that is here to provide support and resources.
